I wasn't born a travel expert.

First, I had to actually travel!

This is the story of a girl who fell in love with the world and had to find a way to see it.

I'm here to share all the travel, food, and fun with you!

Welcome, friend.

The Journey from Travel Beginner to Travel Expert

Solo traveling through Austria

A snapshot from my very first trip to Europe in 2008. Salzburg, Austria still has a very special place in my heart. <3

From the moment I stepped onto the streets of Stockholm on my very first trip to Europe in 2008, I was hooked. Less than 48 hours before, I didn't even know this trip was a possibility.

My boss told me I was leaving the next morning and to make my arrangements. In just a few hours, I had booked flights and hotels in four different countries and was headed home to pack my bags.

Standing in the airport, waiting for my very first passport stamp, I knew I would spend the rest of my life seeing as much of the world as I possibly could. I’ve spent the last thirteen years making that dream come true and have no intention of stopping now!

For one reason or another, life has continually pushed me back to Europe, even when I’ve actively tried to plan trips to other parts of the world! From camping in the West Fjords of Iceland to lounging under a palapa along the Black Sea coast in Romania, I’ve wandered my way across the continent gathering experience, knowledge, and insights I’m so excited to share with you!

Traveling to Europe from the US can seem intimidating, but I promise you, it's not! I'm here to show you just how easy it can be!

Life is meant to be LIVED!

My husband caught me in my element! I love to have fun and I couldn't resist the hopscotch grid on a random street in Copenhagen, Denmark.

A Passion for Travel Planning

Travel has been the one constant in the long list of activities and interests I've pursued as a multi-passionate person. Everything about it fascinates me!

When I'm not actually out traveling, I love pouring over maps, planning trips I want to take someday so helping my clients isn't only what I'm good at, it's fun!

Life is too damn short to spend it waiting for "someday"! We're here for a short while and I want to make the most of it so I spend my days in pursuit of travel, food and fun!

My Mission: Get You Out There!

Most of my adult life was spent working in traditional workplaces where ten days of PTO was the standard. I learned to make the most of the time I had and now I want to help you do the same!

I love helping other travelers maximize the windows of time they have to explore without breaking the bank!

It's so easy to say "I don't have enough time", but you do. You just have to be thoughtful about how you put it together. Hell, I made it all the way around Iceland with my husband and friends in 10 days! If I can do it, you can do it.

About My Work

Getting you out of the 9 to 5 grind and into the world is the work I love most! You haven't pulled the trigger because you don't want to be marched around with a giant group and you aren't sure how to do it on your own.

Here, we don't do generic travel!

You'll never find me recommending one-size-fits-all tours, cruises, or all-inclusive resorts. There's nothing wrong with those, but that's not my jam.

As a travel expert for Europe and the US, I'm a boss at helping you create the experience of being in the place, not just checking off a list of sights to see. And we do it all on your terms.
