What would happen if you took some of the time and energy you spend focusing on others and used it to see what’s happening inside?
It’s impossible to practice good self-care if we don’t know ourselves well.
Last week, we were talking about self-care in our community and this idea came up. It’s absolutely true! When we don’t know what we need, we can’t provide it. Through the process of self-discovery, we can learn to love and support ourselves the way we do for others. As women, we’re told our value is in caring for everyone else. Even though we spend literally every moment with ourselves, so much of our focus is put on external people and activities. Maybe it’s time to shift some of that energy so you can get to know yourself better.
Let’s dive deeper into this topic and talk about some self-discovery activities and questions to help you on your journey.
