Do you know how to start over when you feel stuck and just want a fresh start?
It can be super frustrating when you feel like you’re running in circles and carrying everything from your past with you. Sometimes we just want a chance to hit the “reset” button. Am I right?!
There are SO many opportunities for a new beginning -- a Monday morning, a new moon, a new season, etc. We can have a fresh start anytime, but we usually wait for some sort of marker to make it feel “official”.
What if we could make our own markers and create our own new beginnings any time we want?
Knowing how to start over when we need a reset is powerful! Giving ourselves a fresh start can be as simple as taking time to reflect on the last season and starting to dream about what’s next. Looking at what we’ve accomplished and learned gives us information that helps us navigate the next part of our journey. Also, writing down what we want to leave behind helps us feel lighter as we move forward. Personally, I like to have a little ritual to let those things go. Sometimes I’ll make a list and burn the piece of paper or simply go outside and feel myself release them into the sky, like birds flying away.
Once the old has been cleared out, it’s much easier to dream about all the possibilities waiting for us in the next season! Thinking about who we want to be and what we want to fill our days with helps us set the stage. Then we can get creative about how to make room for more of what brings us joy so we can wake up excited for our lives!
Remember: You are allowed to start over anytime you want. Every single moment is an opportunity to start writing a new story for yourself. Your past does not have to define you. Let that shit go and move boldly into your future. <3
